| 2008 Cedar River Clean-Up Saturday August 9th What a great clean-up we had this year! Even though we had less volunteers we still collected 1020 lbs. of trash! The support from our community businesses was phenomenal this year, providing breakfast, lunch, snacks and prizes for our volunteers. Despite a little rain, we all had a fun, rewarding day. |

| Coming to Cedar County summer 2009: Project AWARE!!!! The Iowa DNR's state wide river clean-up program, AWARE-A Watershed Awareness River Expedition, will be floating the Cedar River in June, spending 2 nights in Cedar County and Conservation Board parks.
