history, which includes the
forming of the two quarries,
now popular fishing spots,
when the property was owned
by Bealer Quarries

Cedar County Conservation Areas
Located 7 miles SW of Tipton off County Road X-40 (Garfield Ave.) 228
acres.  This multiple use area is a combination of river bottomland and
upland forest.

Facilities:    Three shelters, pit toilets, drinking water, playground
equipment, , electric camp sites.

Other Features:    A concrete boat ramp, 2 fishing quarries, hiking
trails including the 3/4 mile Anliker trail.

Recreational uses:    Fishing, picnicking, cross-country skiing,
camping.

Swimming is strictly prohibited in the quarries.
